A Beam Test Study on the Bond Performance between Epoxy-Coated Reinforcement and Geopolymer Concrete

An epoxy-coated reinforcement geopolymer concrete structure with good durability and energy-saving properties can be formed by combining concrete. The bond strength is the precondition for two to work together. In this paper, 13 beam specimens (11 reinforcements 2 ordinary deformed reinforcements) were designed investigate influence of concrete, diameter reinforcement, bonding length type on performance between test results show that ultimate (ECR) decreased 7.32% 14.76%, respectively, when rebar increased from 14 mm 16 then 20 mm. threaded was slightly higher than ECR When section small or low, specimen prone failure pullout. larger splitting failure. However, medium suffered pull-out after splitting. based data, bond-slip constitutive model established, curve obtained in agreement measured curve. addition, calculation formula also proposed which provide theoretical reference engineering application
